Once upon a time,
Not very long ago
I saw light at the end of the tunnel
Until he came along and claimed the tunnel
threw me out
and owned the light
that had shone for all.
Now the tunnel
lost its charm to me
Oh! What I'd given
for moments of that light
And now, one look at it
tells me its not mine
and I don't desire it anymore.
